Fineleehetouchedme (AKA: Elvis), was purchased as a young Halter Champion, obviously built extremely muscular, downhill, and heavy on the forehand.
Elvis was the first horse that I had the joy of starting on my own. Eleven months later, he made his debut in Working Equitation as a 4 year old during the 2012 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, placing in the top 5. Elvis was brought along to Pin Oak for an outing, but due to a last minute change, became my main show mount that weekend as we quickly discovered the show ring was his element!
Often referred to as my ‘Heart of Gold’, he has always given me 150% effort regardless of his conformation difficulties or what is asked of him.
Our training journey, learning together, and ultimately reaping the reward of success as he climbed further up the Working Equitation ladder than we ever believed possible, has been absolutely incredible and produced gratefulness in which there are no words to describe.
I am thankful for all those that have held my hand along this amazing ride!
Elvis and I are excited for our opportunity to compete at the 1st CWE National Show at Haras Dos Cavaleiros in October!
